WORKING WINDSOR: HERITAGE WEEK PHOTO CONTEST

Picture take in Chatham-Kent Summer 2009
Reprinted from the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario

Here's an opportunity to flaunt your amateur photography prowess. CBC Windsor and the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario have teamed up for a Heritage Week photo contest called "Working Windsor".
We are looking for photographs of local industrial heritage buildings. But don't let the title, Working Windsor, fool you. The heritage industrial buildings you photograph are not limited to the Windsor area. You may take photos of buildings anywhere in Essex County, Kent County and Lambton County.

The top ten entries, including the winner, will be shown on CBC News Windsor at 6. The winning photo will be enlarged and framed by a professional photographer. The winning photo will also be featured on the 2010 Heritage Week Promotional Poster put out by the local branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario.
So get out there and snap a photo of your favourite building. From the front, from the back or from inside of it. Just don't delay. The last day for submissions is February 7th, at midnight to be specific.
