UNESCO Adds New World Heritage Sites

Canadian World Heritage Site: Historic District of Old Quebec

UNESCO added 13 new sites to the World Heritage List last week. For a list of new sites and a brief description click here.

The list now includes 890 sites. The sites include 689 cultural properties, 176 natural areas and 25 mixed properties in 148 countries.
