Report #2 from ICOMOS

Following his address to the 17th General Assembly of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) in Paris, Prof Shipley was approached by numerous delegates from different countries who agreed with his assertion that the success of heritage projects should not be evaluated by economic indicators alone but also measured against social and cultural values. Prof Shipley is one of the leading international researchers on the economic impacts of heritage conservation.
