Report #5 from ICOMOS

Speaking last week to the 17th General Assembly of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) in Paris, French philosopher Michel Juffé said that since we all hope to live for a while yet we are, in a sense, our own descendants. That alone should be a reason to respect the past. This novel but captivating idea was especially appreciated by Dr. Robert Shipley of the HRC who attended to conference
