Question: Architectural Features

This past weekend the Heritage Resources Centre held an Architectural Styles Workshop. As part of this workshop we ask people to bring in pictures from their community and we go through them as a group and identify the styles or features.

One person brought in this picture of two houses in Chatham with very interesting wavy brick work:

I've never seen it before. But someone from Bayfield then indicated they also have one in their community: 

Clearly, its not a one off. Do you know anything about this brick pattern? Or do you have a house in you community with this pattern? We'd love to know!
